Like all not-for-profits, volunteers play a critical role in Berryville Main Street’s success.
In exchange for their efforts, volunteers gain satisfaction knowing they’re helping keep our organization vibrant and alive. They also enjoy a bonus benefit: helping shape and direct their community’s future.
If you have a little time to spare and would like to join this important work, we’d welcome your involvement. Berryville Main Street has four committees looking for help.
Your choices include:
- Promotion. This committee conceives and creates events that help raise money, boost traffic in our downtown to support businesses, or both.
- Choose this committee if you’re interested in: event organizing, marketing, image building, advertising, graphic design
- Design. This committee looks at how our downtown can make itself “the place you want to be”. From benches and lighting to facades and signage and everything in between.
- Choose this committee if you’re interested in: preservation , beautification, planning, design, construction of outside space
- Economic Revitalization Committee. This committee assesses what we have and what we need to grow the economic base while serving the needs of the community.
- Choose this committee if you’re interested in: management, planning, finance, business retention, recruitment, use of space.
- Organization. This committee establishes the strategic and financial direction of Berryville Main Street.
- Choose this committee if you’re interested in: fund-raising, public relations, volunteer management, communications
Even if you’re available only a couple hours a month, or for a specific event, your willingness to help will be much appreciated.
